This Privacy Policy describes how Triple Game ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects the information you provide when you use our multiplayer Set card game application ("the App").

1. Information We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to operate the game:

• Username – chosen by you at registration; displayed publicly on leaderboards.
• Password – stored as a bcrypt hash; we never store your plain-text password.
• Gameplay data – scores, win/loss counts, ranking points, sets found, and in-game currency balances.
• Device and session data – timestamps of activity and WebSocket connection state, used to maintain online status.

We do not collect your real name, phone number, location, or any payment information.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your game account.
• To power multiplayer matchmaking and real-time gameplay.
• To display rankings and leaderboards.
• To maintain in-game currency and reward systems.
• To send in-app notifications about game events and referrals.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in a secured PostgreSQL database. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt before storage. Authentication uses short-lived JWT access tokens (1-hour expiry) alongside 7-day refresh tokens stored in the database.

While we take reasonable precautions to protect your data, no internet transmission is 100% secure. Use a unique password for your account.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your profile and personal data are removed from our active records. Anonymized or aggregated gameplay statistics may be retained for analytical purposes.

5. Your Rights

• Access – view your profile and game data in the App at any time.
• Deletion – permanently delete your account and associated data via the App's account settings or through our account deletion page.

6. Children's Privacy

Triple Game is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
